hopkin & allen xl8 pistol

I was looking at dixie gun works web site and saw a hopkin and allen xl8. my question is they say it is a 22 centerfire and that got me wondering was their ever a centerfire 22 in a pistol in that time frame thanks

The typo is not in the "centerfire" but in the caliber. It is .32 caliber, not .22.
