I have what I believe to be an"'early" Walker made by S Marco in Italy. It only has the PN stamping and the crossed swords w/circled Star"...I can find NO others..can you help me date this brute..? It is factory engraved ??. The cyl. scene has lettering of W L Ormsby etc. within the border engraving that I cannot read the rest. I am perplexed on this dating and am curious as to whether S Marco did the engraving on the frame/T'guard/backstrap etc..??

First you buy flowers, then go to her house and ask her father's permission. After that, you are on your own! :neener:

It OUGHT to have a two letter in a square date code somewhere.
But that might have been defarbed in cleaning up for engraving.
I think the engraving is a bit nicer than the usual factory pattern and the gold band on the cylinder is not real common from the factory. Maybe one of those "commemorative" outfits like arctic says.

OK..I will check this out..but I still have not seen another to compare this with/to....
