How do I Kill North Florida Turkeys?

I went out today to see if I could spot turkeys roosting. My property is two strips of land, next to each other. One is woods, and the other is a big pasture with a pond and a bunch of large trees. I tried the pasture, because I have a pond there, and the property past it has a wet area.

I stayed until it was nearly dark, and nothing showed up. Maybe they don't roost here.

I did find a huge bear pile. I don't understand why I never see bears. The poop is everywhere.

You need a minimum of 10 acres to shoot on your own land in Marion County. Doesn't sound like you're making friends with your neighbors...Have a nice day, I'm done with this one.

Please do not ever hijack another one of my threads. You don't know the law, and you already got one of my threads locked.

I apologize to the mods. I hope you will leave this thread open, because I need info on turkey hunting.

Turkeys are just like any other animal, they are looking for something to eat. I keep bees. Pollination has soared, all the little critters
are coming back. Plenty of turkeys. One way to do it with less cost and fuss is make Orchard Mason Bees nests.

Another trick is to salvage from Orange trees and other fruit and produce. If you have any neighbors who have Citrus, ask for some.
Leave it to compost in a couple likely spots. It will draw bugs. Guess what Turkeys eat?

I went out again at dusk. No calls, no birds.

I keep seeing a huge brown bird flying under the trees. I had to look it up. I think it's a northern harrier.

There's a lot of Barred Owls around here, too.

What you want to do is try to get the Turkey hens attracted onto your property
any time of year. They tend to cover a fair sized area, without being able to say
definitively, I'd say @ 5 square miles. Just like with deer, where the doe goes, the
buck will follow. So if you can get hens to roost on your property, toms won't be far behind.

It looks like turkeys don't roost here. What can I do before the season ends? Will a call bring them in? I wouldn't know which one to buy.
