I'm thinking about building a custom hunting rifle and would like to use a controlled round feed action such as a Winchester Model 70 or Mauser action. Manufacturer doesn't particularly matter. The ability to mount a scope in a traditional fashion is very, very much preferred.
About how much should I spend on one in used or new condition? I assume used will be cheaper. I've just begun my search, so I haven't priced around all that much. A general range of prices would be helpful. I may be hitting up a gun show in a couple weeks and would like to come prepared with a price range in mind.
Also, I'm not sure if actions generally come with bolts or bottom metal. If they don't, then I'll need to add that to the cost, as well.
