I have no idea what the story is but my wild-a$$ guess is that the bear climbed up a tree..perhaps chased by people or dogs. The tree was hanging over a trampoline and the people thought "Gee, I wonder what happens when a bear jumps on a trampoline?" So they set up their camera and then somehow caused the bear to fall from it's perch.

Again, that's a complete and total guess because my first reaction to seeing it was the same as yours.

ABC ran this story a while ago.

it goes somthin like this

The bear climbed into a tree in town and was frightening the suburbanites, soooooo animal control came and was going to tranqualize it. Some one didnt want the bear to get hurt when it fell asleep and fell out of the tree, some one watched too many cartoons.
They put the giant trampoline under the tree to soften the bears fall, i dont think it helped.:rolleyes: :uhoh:
 
Apparently the bear was unhurt. Looks nasty though.

Yeah, bears are tough. I'm sure he got up and ran away.....right into a wall! :neener:
