Funny how quiet they all are, ain't it?
I checked the Brady Site and the Demo Underground and the other "usual suspects". The same ones that ran the Bancroft award for the book as big news, back when it said what they wanted it to say.
None of them seem to have anything to say about Bellisle resignation or the rescinding of the award. Big surprise, huh?
It's not what really happened it's the fact that he meant to do the right thing.
I love the way the article closes, with an emphasis on the phony proposition the book was engineered to support and not on the issue of the fact that a panel of his peers judged his premise and scholarship to be fatally flawed.
