How to ship a long gun

How much will it run me to ship a shotgun? Does it have to go overnight like handguns?

An individual can ship a rifle or shotgun by either common carrier (Fed-Ex, UPS etc and overnight is not required) or vis U.S. Mail. Cost will depend on weight. It can be sent to an FFL dealer or a gunsmith but not to an unlicensed person although you can send it to yourself.

Put it in a box. Take it to PO. Tell 'em to mail it.
