HSM Ammo question

I tell you this much. 300 grains into a hand-cannon is a hell of a round. If you have shot these kinds of rounds, go for it. If not? buy a box and see.

Ive got a bunch of different kinds of ammuntion here and there that Ive bought a box of 5 or whatever and went down the range to shoot em. Sometimes that is the only way you will learn if you like it or not, shooting them.

It would be very nice if the Shops provided samples of ammunition to shoot before buying sorta like what delis do sometimes. But, sometimes it's only to get a box and try it.

But before you do, google or crawl the net and find out if that ammo has been used in the gun you are thinking about by someone else before.

That HSM is the cheapest $$ ammo I have ever seen. I have used other rifle and pistol calibers from them and had no issues. Magtech and Hornady are available frim Midway, but they are significantly more expensive although the Hornady will outrun the HSM.

bought a box of 38 spl about a year ago. 158gr lfn. reasonably clean shooting and was surprised by the accuracy. at twenty yds i could keep all 5 shots in a 6" circle from my s&w 642. i would buy more and wouldn't hesitate to buy different calibers..... if i could find it for sale here.
