I bet it is not a plant the MR Blix's team has searched. We would have heard of a plant with barbed wire and camo.

Pardon me for lack of detail and accuracy but...

Nice discussion on FoxNews with a former UNSCOM inspector Tim Trevan regarding how current UNMOVIC style inspection is done. Former style was no talk of intention or destination while in country. Current style was many levels of committees/leaks before going to an already known past site to verify it had not been reactivated. No wonder Bush and Co. didn't fill in all known intelligence.

Thanks, I had UNSCOM and UNMOVIC switched.

edited to add inspector's name and switch the 2 organizations

On a related note, did anybody catch the Frontline show about what brought us here? The UNSCOM inspectors caught the Iraqis with all kinds of nuke-building equipment, but a few inspections later the security council wouldn't back them up when the Iraqis kept them from doing further inspections... any guesses which members wanted out of inspections? (Hint: the three countries speak russian, chinese, and french) Oddly enough, that Scott Ritter (sp?) fella was the one bitching about finding damning evidence that the UN wouldn't back them up on... same guy who swore, on national TV, that Iraq had no more WMD. More inspections, eh chirac? You weren't saying that when we were finding nuke plants in the desert.
