While browsing at the local Big5, I saw a rather worn Swiss K31. After reading so much about them, I decided to ask to look at it.
Long story short...they had another back in the safe, and it was in very good condition. Blueing was very good, rifling excellent, wood had a nice deep amber hue (with some little Swiss emblem stamped on the side of the buttstock), all matching serial numbers, etc.
I was no match for such temptation and promptly put it on layaway. Is there hope for me? I'm afraid that once I get it home it may want friends to keep it company, and I won't be able to stand up to it.
I've fallen into collecting milsurps, and I worry that it may drown me. Is there a cure/prescription?
