I bought a new G19 today. Took it to the range and ran some winchester 115gr through it at 7yds all in the black. I've been shooting .40 for a few years but the G19 always appealed to me. Well I scratched that itch. I attached a pic of one of three targets. They all looked the same. 16rds at 7 yards.

The G19 may be the best all-around use 9mm out there. Not too big and not too small, but plenty reliable and accurate.

Welcome to the Darkside  I love my G19 too. I am no where near as good as you with mine but heck I new to the hangund world. I have wanted a Glock since they were reported as being evil. After owning my first I want all of them:D Although the 18 will always be a want that I am probably never to achive.

As I type, two G19's sit next to me, one on each side.:D

Welcome to the club. We Glockers need to stick together.

Psssst, these guns cry out for "full-cap" mags. Don't let it down.:D

I just got a Glock 19, too. Wow, it's a great gun. I am relatively new to Glocks - I own a CZ 75B, a Springfield Armory XD9, and a Kel Tec P11. The G19 is superior to them all (yes even the XD9).

Great balance, size, handling, capacity, reliability...

I too really like the G19. Have had my 2nd generation 19 for 2 or 3 yrs now. It has full sized handling and performance in a compact package. I always keep my eye out for a second, 2nd gen. G19 to add.

I have an old, old G19 that has become my favorite CCW weapon. Congrats on your purchase!

And in my best imitation of Patrick Stewart's voice:

I am Locutus of Glock. You will be assimilated. You will add the Glock's technological and physiological distinctiveness to your own. Resistance is futile."

:D

of all the Glocks, the 19 was my fav, although i owned a gen one G17................. but glocks will always wish they where a walther p99........... but never will be !!! hahahhahahah resistance successful

I'm adding the G17 smooth trigger then doing a polish job on the internals. I was able to get a decent trigger out of a sigma I should be able to get heavenly with this thing. I'll probably get a plug thingy for the grip as well and night sights are in the future.

I also have two Glock 19s. A second gen. from '96 and a third gen. from this past Oct. They are my favorite model of the Glocks. And I've had ALOT of them over the years and always seem to come back to the 19.

Mine both have night sights, NY1 trigger springs with 3.5lb. connectors, the plug, factory extended slide releases, and smooth triggers for the 17.

You need the 9mm trifecta.

May the farce be with you.... ( Sorry that really was a typo..was supposed to be "force".)

I have been considering a G21.
Now I would like to have one, But can live without one.
I am just a little hard headed and set in my ways.
Just look at my username.

I will own one some day. However at this point I am not willing to give up one of my 1911's in trade.

I still feel that Glocks are really over priced. I just don't believe it costs as much to manufacture a Glock as it does to make a 1911.

Folding and welding sheet metal and injection molded plastic are less costly technologies than machining forged steel blocks of steel.

This isn't to say I don't like "G's" it is simply a matter of personal choice.
:)

Thought I was going to have to shoot that "Sarah Brady for President" sticker right off your chest... Oh... you mean THAT dark side...
