I love my new VEPR!

I love my new VEPR ! Wait, didn't I just say that? Not a single malfunction and accurate. To night I shot a seven shot group at 100 yards 2 1/2" high and 3/4" wide, with a PKAS red/black dot sight . Can't wait to see what this rifle will do with some powered optics for my old eyes. Interestingly, wolf hollow point shot much worse than the Brown Bear soft point ammo.

More specs on the brown bear. Is this the 125 gr stuff? I just ordered some wolf 150 gr and am hoping to try for some tighter groups when it arrives.

Grats on the gun/scope. That is the exact same setup I have except I got an arsenal instead of a vepr.

Yes. 125 gr. Brown Bear soft point. has a red seal around the case neck and primer, and has a lacquered steel case. Only downside is it is a bit stinky when the lacquer burns off. In my vepr, shooting with the iron sights, the wolf 122 grain hollow points shot about 6-7" at 100 yards. The Brown Bear closed up to about 3"-4". My eyes are old and I am not the best rifle shot in the world, so I was pleased. For comparision, I shot a m4 bushy and with a cheap scope was doing a magazine full into about 5" at 100yds- shooting sort of quickly.
