I went hunting with my neighbor today at Camp Blanding. It's a beautiful area with hardwoods and pines. Lots of creeks too. We saw some turkeys. I was using my elec. game caller trying for a bobcat. Daylight was fading so I went to retrive the caller and the decoy and I looked down the trail and there stood a big deer broadside to me. I shouldered my rifle, but I could not produce any horns so I passed. I'm planning on going back soon and maybe our paths will cross again.
