.452 diameter, for 45 Colt. Vihtavuori N330 powder & will start ~11 grains = 1150 fps.

The box of bullets specifies 45 ACP but Vihtavuori website says it's an ok bullet weight.

I've never loaded anything but 200 grain and 240 grain, but it should be an ok plinking load.

Thoughts?

I use N330 a little. That load seems a tad hot for that bullet, Not a lot of surface to grab the lands, so may lead you up? My 2cents.

My dad was a big fan of 185gr SWC in his 1911's.

I stuck to the 200 only because there was just a little more data available.

In the real world it's probably one of those "6 in one half dozen in the other" kinda things.

What bullets?
Are they lead? FMJ? If lead, I typically like .452 to .454 in 45 Colt - so as the previous poster (#2) said, look out for leading - if they are lead
