My son got these grips for me for Christmas one year and they really look great on my Colt Governments. So do the faux ivory grips one of my daughters bought for my birthday.

That reminded me, I found a site a little while back, Garrison Grips. Now I'm considering theirs, I'm former Navy. They have them for all branches of the armed forces.

Actually just said the heck with it and ordered a set.

Those remind me of a milspec SA champion 45 I had once upon a time. Let us know how yours shoots.

Have the GI-looking version, and really like it; nicely fitted, decent trigger. Mine has the grey-green parkerizing; the worst I can say, the short beavertail can allow some hammer bite.
Enjoy that gun (eliminate those mother of pearl grips as a choice, tho'.... ;) )

I have made the mistake of saying I would quit a few times and had to eat my words every time. I have learned my lesson. Enjoy your new toy.
I also went down that path and flopped. Now I don’t even try to kid myself anymore, if I see something I like or want, and its within my $$ wheelhouse, I just get it.

I no sooner dropped a spring kit in my three-week owned CZ 75 P01 then I plunked down the $$ on a CZ 75 compact. (Im halfway through the 10-day wait today.) I think i need to order another spring kit for this new gun.

Nice pickup Kje54.

At first glance in the case I thought it was full length grip/officers slide length, then I saw the foam cutout was covering the end of the slide/muzzle. That looks like a sturdy commander that will shoot and shoot for decades to come.

When you get a chance to shoot it let us know how it does for you. :)

Stay safe.
