I'm shooting a S&W Model 10-8 (4") and a Ruger GP100 (6"). Shooting white box 158 gr lead cartidges, I seem to shoot consistently a little high and to the right. Any ideas?

Sorry. I shoot right handed with the left hand supporting.

You may be anticipating the recoil by pushing the gun with the heel of your right hand. Try changing your grip higher up then lower down. Jerry Miculek like to grip the gun very high up. Doesn't work for me.

Try using less trigger finger, that is, using more of the pad than the joint.

Put some snap caps or spent rounds in the cylinder along with live rounds, give it a spin and close it without looking. Watch what happens when the gun goes click.

To get rid of all of these problems do a lot of dry firing. Not just for a few days. All the time. This is the best way to develop consistent precise shooting. Just make sure the gun is unloaded!

at what distance?

At realistic distances - 5 yards or less - the manner of grip/pulling the trigger etc. doesn't matter much as long as it's consistent. Most real-world gunfights are at that range anyway. Practice double-taps at 5 yards and less before concluding you have a significant problem. Maybe it's just at 20 yards or so, which is beyond the range of most real-world gunfights anyway.
