I want a TRUE 'always' handgun. Nothing less than 9mm caliber. I'd prefer 'real' guns (meaning all steel-preferably stainless) and I want one that will fit unobtrusively in a front pocket (or maybe a back pocket). AND I want an autoloader.

Suggestions please. Or in other words, what is the smallest RELIABLE semiauto in 9mm readily available? (Diminsions would be appreciated if you have them available.)

Thanks guys.

Thanks guys. You only fueled the fire! I've wanted a Kahr for a while-looks like you also agree it fits my needs. The .40 cal is just a very wee bit bigger than the 9mm-! I may give it a try. If and when I can get one, I'll post a report. Now gotta go into my 'gun stash $ hoarding mode' for a while. Hummm.

Sig 239

Alloy frame but a stainless slide. Great little gun

what about a para ordinance. they are all .45's. they all have stainless or steel recievers. heard they are great carry arms.

Hard to fit a Para in your front pocket though.

Kahr has a good rep, though I found the .40 a handfull to shoot and the sights were lacking.

sig p-239 is a great all round hand gun,but not for pocket carry, it is too big and weighs 25.2 oz unloaded in 9mm, otherwise it would be a great choice for ccw...

the para carry C6.45 LDA w/ 3'' barrel. fit in my front pocket just fine. but i do wear bigger but not gangsta sized jeans.
