I just picked up a new IAC copy of the Winchester 1897 from Bud's Gunshop and while it seems operationally sound, it has one small problem. It seems to be wearing the blueing where the forend moves back and forth at an alarming rate. I've haven't even had time to take it out and shoot it and it already looks like heck along that portion of the magazine. Anyone else have one of these to say if this is normal for the IAC copies?
