Just bought a pistol off my brother in law and the ammo he gave me has all the marking of being military surplus. I have tried and failed to get a good pic of it but my camera won't focus that close. I will try again later with my dad's (non cell phone) camera.

So here is what's on it. a small triangle, 9mm and 68 stamped into it along with red primer sealant. Can anyone help me?

The triangle or delta is usually indicative of Chinese ammo (Norinco), IIRC.
I have no idea about the quality or safety.

Yep sounds like norinco to me. Green box with a cheap platic tray. Boxer primed if I remember. Back in the day it was the Cheap deal on 9mm.
