I play IDPA for fun, and shoot a 625, which is definitely not the gun I sometimes carry in real life. There, I said it. If Mr. Wilson wants to kick me out of his club, let him; the outstanding people at our local club have no problem dealing with the kind of recreational shooting I wish to do.
Now, given all that, I have the following equipment question. Does anyone know exactly what the new rules for speedloader holders mean? I understand that the double-decker Bladetech dealies are out (and feel bad for the guys that already bought them); but I've been using the more typical/oldschool Ranch Products spring steel moonclip holders. Does that count as a 'positive tensioning device', or was it also intended to be excluded (despite the fact that it's the standard mode of carry for moonclips)? And if that's out, then can anyone point me toward something that WOULD fulfill the requirements? I realize noone may be in a position to speak authoritatively on this yet, but I'd be happy to hear your informed (or otherwise ) opinion.
