I've been looking at PM9's for quite sometime. I CCW a Sig P239 357 Sig and sometimes, I want smaller on me.

I do not like front pocket holsters at all to wear in front pockets. I also don't want to wear any of that holster underwear gizmos.

I wear a VM-2 for my Sig and would consider a thinner Watch-6. But there will be times that in the summer, I'll be wearing running shorts and the only place that I could conceivably put the Kahr is in my back pocket. Shorts, jeans, khakis. Except, most holster mfg's don't make a holster for the PM9.

There are times that I'd like to carry the PM9 in my leather jacket inside breast pocket and could do so with a front pocket holster.

I'd like a rear pocket holster but I don't think it's conceivable. The High Noon Pocket Grabber looks like something I could use as well as the Pocket Concealment Systems' models but they too are front pocket.

If I can't come up with a solution, I'm not going to buy the PM9.

Any recommendations or solutions?

"Appendix" carry works great for me with an untucked T-shirt or Polo with my PM40 with shorts or jeans. I use a cheap nylon IWB clip holster -- Uncle Mikes, Mil-Tech, etc. whatever I can find that is a snug fit and the thinner the better.

Pager Pal (www.pagerpal.com) works well when I have to wear a tucked-in shirt and don't have to sit too much.

If you are not wearing a shirt and belt then you are asking a lot to reject the holster "underwear" gizmos. They work very well when just wearing running shorts and no shirt, or pants that have no belt (mine is from jagwear.com).

I always wear a shirt, Tee, golf, outdoor Capilene climbing shirt, etc. I was thinking of one of those clip on IWB's as mentioned Talon Plus, Don Hume, etc but haven't gone that direction yet. Perhaps some good thoughts could come this way.

I'm not sure why you don't like front pocket carry.
That is how I carried my PM9 all of last summer.
Unless you are wearing very thin material, the gun goes unnoticed, in all but the smallest or tightest pockets.

One member here carried a MK40 in a back pocket holster.
I think Don Hume makes one, as do others.
A belly band would work, but would be hot in the summer.

I recently got a Watch Six for my Colt Defender.
It is a great holster, and very comfortable.
But, with me, when faced with the choice of dressing around the gun, or wearing "normal" clothes, I'm afraid that most of the time, front pocket carry is going to be the easiest option.

If you want to go IWB, you can easily carry a bigger gun.
Though I have been thinking about carrying my PM9 in my WS, just because it's so light.

We make holsters for the PM9 at K&D Holsters. Primarily they are a front pocket holster, as well as our popular 2n1, which has a snap on/snap off anti-print panel. The 2n1 gives you the versatility of a front pocket/rear pocket holster all in one design.

Being a custom holster maker, we could easily make an IWB with a belt clip or with the snap-over belt straps. Generally with IWB holsters, I put the rough side of the leather on the outside, and then adhere pigskin suede for soft contact against the skin.

I'm a small body frame and I carry my PM9 in an IWB. The PM9 is just a little big for me to put in a front pocket, however, it fits nicely in the rear pocket.

Feel free to contact us at www.kdholsters.com or by email: [email protected].

I carry my PM9 in a HighNoon "Pocket Grabber" in the breast pocket of my jackets as well as sport coats and it works wonderfully. I can also carry it in the front pocket of most of my slacks, but not my jeans.

I wear jeans and khakis that are fit to my body without much excess material. A pistol in my front pocket will not work, as I've already tried it.

I went to gunnersalley.com and saw a FIST #1 forward cant, with clip that I could see the PM9 in, as an IWB or clipped inside my shorts with a shirt on top.

Some of the clip models kind of look cheap but from what I've read on the searches, the clips for a light pistol like a PM9 work pretty well.

Does anyone have comments re: FIST leather or the clips that come with them. Side note: I called RFhoster re: an Alessi clip Talon but they are out of stock for many weeks to come.

I do wear my VM-2 P239 but sometimes, even that is a bit too much when I want to go really lightweight.

I recognize that everyone has their opinions and experiences. This is a granted. We all kind of know what we want and I'm trying to narrow it down further.

For me the PM9 is to big for pocket carry (I wear tight jeans). I put it in a coat pocket or breast pocket sometimes but mostly I wear it in a IWB Fist ultra thin Kydex J hook holster K3 I think.

If you really want a pocket rocket get a P32, now that pistol can be put into front or rear pocket without any problem. Some people think that the P32 is under powered but a .32 will hurt you bad. And anyway if you ever have to pull it out most people's jaws will drop and all you'll see is there backside hightailing it.

I don't know if Graham (http://www.grahamholsters.com) makes his rear pocket holster for the PM or not - if so, it'd be a good choice. I think the PM is a little large for rear pocket carry - a cover garment would probably be needed.

I've got an Alessi IWB with the clip, and it is quite nice. If you'd like to try it for a while shoot me an e-mail.

I second the P32 if you really want a summer/anytime/always/drop-in-your-pocket-and-forget-it gun.

And, you can add a belt clip to the gun, and wear it IWB without a holster.
I bet it would work in the front pocket!

For a slightly bigger bullet, the P3AT is just a barely bigger gun in .380.

They're not as well made as a Kahr, but they are good guns.

We've got a few.
