If you could only have one rifle for each game species/type of hunting what would it be? In other words what would be your ideal rifle/cartridge be for each situation? You get to choose the sitations or even dream if you wish.
Squirrel/Rabbit: .22LR
Coyote: .20 Practical in an AR
Hog/Boar: .45 Colt in a Winchester Trapper Carbine
Whitetail Deer: .260 Rem in a Savage Lightweight Hunter
Antelope: .25 WSSM or .260 Rem
Mule Deer/Caribou/Cow Elk: .280 Rem/7mm WSM/.284 Win
Large Elk: .338-06 on a modern Mauser-type action... Ruger?
Maine/SE Canada (all large game): .358 Win - Browning BLR
Bison: undecided
Alaska (no bear): .338-06 (see large elk)
