Got to be careful when you say wilson for a barrel. There is wilson combat and wilson arms. i would want a wilson arms barrel for accruracy.
Not sure whose blanks they use, but my Wilson Combat barrel is no slouch in the accuracy department. But, yes, Wilson Arms, not Wilson Combat is who I was referring to.

Yes krieger and several others make great barrels but there tread is about spending 2000 dollars on a rifle , optics and be free float. Can't do all going to the aftermart for a barrel too.
You can get a White Oak Armament upper with a Wilson barrel for under $600. That is assembled with an aluminum float tube, not a rail, and includes the BCG and charging handle. Complete that with any of the myriad stripped lowers out there at the $80 price point, add a PSA LPK with a Geissele trigger upgrade for $220 and add an ACE or A2 stock for $75-100. That's the rifle for $1k with a premium barrel. You can get a hell of a piece of glass and a mount for $1k.

Of course feeding that rifle mil-surp ammo would be akin to running a Viper on 87 octane. It would still shoot, but would grossly under-perform.

Noveske or Mega upper and lower

Krieger, 18" rifle medium contour, 1:8, wylde chamber

PRS stock, Geissele S3G, Battle comp, Troy 15" extreme battle rail, Troy back up sights, spikes buffer, MIAD grip,

vortex pst 1-4x on LaRue mounts

JP enterprises JP-15 upper ($1200) plus a kit-build lower (~$300), plus an Aimpoint C3 in a American Defense mount all for just around $2,000 +/- $100 or so.
