#3033-special; The "Camping Knife" is also available with the traditional brown leather sheath that takes almost all of the handle and hangs from a twisted thong. It's a neat all around knife for hikers and campers, or even wood carvers. The carbon steel blade is about 3 5/8" long and .133" thick. The classic handle is about 4 1/4" long and sized for average and smaller hands. The knife and sheath weigh about 3 3/4 ounces. I really like this one. $49.

I already got this model 612 few days ago and the sharpness is so amazing. Now the Swedish Army knife in stainless sandvik steel was sharp but not as sharp compared to model 612.

This is the model 612 in carbon steel, very sharp at a great price.

I like it!

Personally, with a 3" or shorter blade, this carbon steel knife and leather sheath would fit me and my likes a tad better.

Puukkos and Moras are awesome knives, especially for the price.

One of my most favorite knives is my Mora #1, which I once stropped to the point where I shaved with it. You should consider the Mora #1, it's the same as the #612 but it doesn't have the "training bar" on it!

Remember the kid has been attending the Blade Show since she was -3 months old and has been collecting knives since she was old enough to know what a knife was. We sit around and look at Blade and Tactical and Illustrated like some would look through a high end catalog. She'd consider a tack-tickle a poor trade for something of real artistry or practicality.

Smart kid, of course I knew that.

Sounds dumb, but I would get a kick out of Bug, teaching me stuff, and showing me her collection.
I would like to also like to fish with cane poles, and have Bug start the fire with her flint and steel and cook fish on a campfire.
Maybe the next day make homemade sling shots and do some pest control around the property.

Her mom and dad could hang out with us...maybe. *grin*

I found this jewel on eBay for $16.00 last summer. It's very light and served me well on a long distance hike-in hunt last November along the White Rriver breaks.

This is named the Finnbear by COLD STEEL - made in Taiwan. But the design is pure Scandinavian!

I just ordered the #3033-special; The "Camping Knife" and am excited. This will be my first Puukko. I look forward to getting it. Anybody know anything about muskratman knives? I have heard good things am considering a nice custom Puukko from him.
