That would be an awful lot of weight at the end of the barrel when fully loaded. Very innovative idea though.
 
Good God! There is a reason that the military gave up on trying to get extra high capacity mags onto shotguns.
1. They usually didn't work
2. They usally did not work more than once
3. They were just too damn heavy
AND our military spent millions trying to get this done in the late 70s early80s, it don't work, at least not reliably enough.
Stick with what the pros use, you will be happier, and alive.
 
Very interesting from an engineering perspective but wow that's bulky. Must be internally complicated, wouldn't want to depend on it.
 
Looks like it would be fun to have on a fun-gun, something that you don't depend on and just use for fun at the range. You could almost do a round of 5 stand without reloading...

Without adding significant weight? Thats the best one I've heard all day!

Might be interesting on a rimfire though...
