I'm thinking the firing pin doesn't come apart in an 870?

Am I right, without knocking out that press pin and needing another new one?

Because the gun is brand new, and I just want to detail strip and clean the entire thing.

I don't have any gun scrubber, nor can I afford 5 dollars at the minute. Gun Scrubber can't get into every location, either.

Automotive brake parts cleaner. I use the non-chlorinated kind. It runs something like 97¢ to 2 bucks a can at Wal-Mart. I'm sure you already know to use it outdoors and wear your eye protection. I like gloves, too. It can't get into absolutely every location, I suppose, but it sure does what I need it to do.
