I've been interested in a IMI 32 S&W long, although I have not seen it in person, I have seen pictures. It looked to be in excellent shape and of good quality, from what the pictures convey. I do so enjoy loading and shooting 32's of all shapes and sizes.

So, does anyone... have any information about the quality or worth of one of these? I have searched until my fingers are numb, and can not find much more than that its a S&W 547 clone.

Even then its been 38's. Not one 32 S&W long on the entire internet? Could this be a 38 S&W, or did they really make them in 32 S&W long?

A 547 clone would be in 9mm parabellum, the 547 used a special extractor to work with the rimless cartridge. No need for such complexity on a rimmed straight wall case.

That said, I didn't know IMI made a double action revolver and would be interested in any info or pics you can post.

Seconded!

Are you sure it is IMI ?

Particulary since it is in .32 S&WL I would be thinking it could be an INA .

Tiger trademark on the side = INA.

INDUSTRIA NACIONAL DE ARMAS
SAO PAULO BRAZIL
(the state owned ordnance factory that later became / developed into IMBEL - INDUSTRIA DO MATERIEL BELICO DE BRASIL, FABRICA ITAJUBA BRAZIL)

They are of pretty good quality, and were imported to the US in the 1970's & 80's.

Be aware there are no parts available that I'm aware of, so if it breaks, it will likely stay broke.

Thank you for the info. I will likely pass due to the lack of replacement parts.

rcmodel knows more about this than I do. I thought INA dated back to the 60's mainly, and were poorly thought of. My impression was that even the the early Tauruses, which were pretty rough guns, were better than the INA's but I have no personal experiences with either.
