impressions glock 20 vs xd45

well in the morning im going to the range with my buddy
he has xd45(4 inch) i have glock 20
im holding his xd 45
1- the grip is very small
2- the polymer is almost half as thick
3- his barrel is half as thick
4- almost twice the effort to rack his slide
5- without clip his gun is lighter
6- his metal clip seems to equalize the weight

ill reply with a range report after shooting but my in hand inspection leads me to believe the glock is way more over built
 
ok shot both guns and used remington umc rounds in both
shot 100 rounds through each
both performed flawlessly
the xd45 actually kicked a little harder it felt different but had more muzzle flip
i was equally accurate with both of them
 
Glock 20 = 10x more versatile. Shoot it with DoubleTap 10mm now, and you'll be hitting Magnum territory velocities and energy, especially with a 6" barrel. :D
 
I like the Glocks I would get a Glock 21 in 45 acp and shoot the 10mm out of it by buying a barrel for it and some 20 mags. Then you have two calibers if you want to go that route. You can also get a 400 Corbon barrel for it that is a nice round. Hard to beat the Glocks for extra stuff:uhoh:
