Greeting's All-

We had several manufactuer's rep in our store this week for sales
promotions of various firearms and equipment. We had reps that
represented Springfield Armory-Benelli,Franchi, Beretta, H&K,
Browning, and Smith & Wesson firearms. These reps also had
other lines of related equipment too represent, as well. For
instance, Ken Johnson of Springfield Armory-Benelli-Franchi
also was the rep for SureFire flashlights; Browning rep David
Doss also has the Winchester Olin ammo line, and Craig Kelley
has H&K and Svarwoski (spell check?) scopes.

All the rep's spent three days each with us (in store) and their
presence boosted sales for the entire month of August; and
probably for any given day the entire year. Needless to say,
business was extremely good~! None other was a greater
person to work with than Stan P (for the lack of me, I can't
recall or spell his last name?) of Smith & Wesson. He came
prepared with give-away items such as T-shirts, hats, two
types of S&W key chains, ink pens, note pads, and S&W
bags. Early on, during the last day he called me over to
his vechile and gave me a brand new copy of Roy Jinks
10th anniversary book, The History Of Smith & Wesson.

It was a great time, as we sold all but one of our inventory of
Smith& Wessons new M&P AR-15's, that we are runn'in on sale
for $899. Even our inventory of the tactical model S&W M&P15
AR's went very quickly; along with several S&W large caliber
revolvers (.500 and .460 XTR magnums), many 642's and
Sigma's, and a few of the 9m/m and .40 S&W caliber M&P
pistols. All in all the sales promo was a great success, thank
you very much to all who participated; and we are glad too
see Smith & Wesson returning to the fore front of American
firearms~! ;) :D
