So as I have been posting some of my cooped up gun guy shooting as of late, today on the menu is a little .22 action. A Diana 430 Stutzen and an HW95 Luxus.
This Diana is a great gun to shoot, powerful, really smacks them in there and has a really nice trigger. In my defense the front sight is pretty big and pretty much covers the entire shoot and see at the distance I was shooting.....that's my story...
The HW95 is the closest thing I have to a "Tuned" airgun. The stock piston seal had a big chunk out of it so I tore it down and replaced it with, IIRC, a Vortek kit. Smooth shooter now and will put these Crosman Premiers in the same area all day long with aplomb. I just need a little windage adjustment. Last time I had this out was at 50 yards and I was probably adjusting for some wind.
Here is a close up the pellet trap. You can see the pellets stacking on top of each other.
Normally I espouse the virtues of H&N Field Target Trophy's or other H&N products but today everything was fed from my "big bucket of Crosman .22" patent pending.
Well there you have it sports fans more cooped up shooting and once again, as much as I want to get out and run some .45 or an AR, the sheer pleasure of banging away whenever I want with a little to no cleaning truly gives me more joy then shooting my .22 rimfires.
As always, take care, shoot safe,
Chris
