Hello Everyone,

I am attempting to remove a Tac-Star 6-shell Sidesaddle unit from a Benelli Super 90 M-1 12 gauge shotgun. My shotgun was imported by Heckler & Koch and uses the factory pistol grip stock. The gun is 100% stock as it came from the factory.

Although instructions were supplied with the unit, I have misplaced them. The Sidesaddle weighs enough to affect the functioning of this fine shotgun to the point that you must use Express Buckshot loads to ensure it will feel reliably. It has something to do with the recoil impulse of the inertia mechanism being dampened enough to inhibit reliable feeding I have been told.

Can anyone tell me how to get it off?

Any suggestions on things to watch out for while taking the Sidesaddle off?

Are there any particularly helpful tools I should have handy while I am doing this?

Thanks for the input.

If I remember correctly, it is held on by one screw, should be pretty obvious, visible on the outside, replacing the pin that holds the trigger group in.

Hope that helps.
