PRESENTS!
Marksman’s Enterprise Instructor Development Class

Have you ever been to a firearms instructor school where you were actually taught how to teach? Have you ever been to a firearms instructor school?
Have you been to an instructor school where you wished you could have had a chance to run the line, learn new teaching tips and be able to critique your peers and have them critique you?
In the Marksman’s Enterprise Instructor Development Class offered by BayProfs you will get just that. You will learn how to develop a training program, you will teach it and you will be critiqued and offered suggestions for improvement both by your peers and the instructor.
When is the last time you had the opportunity to perform a detailed diagnosis of a shooting problem? Then, when the problem has been identified, fix the problem with the shooter?
It is a simple fact; in a large class there are not enough instructors to go around. In addition to that, there are not enough skilled instructors around who can diagnose a shooting problem. There are even fewer who can diagnose a problem and correct the problem with the shooter. In this Marksman’s Enterprise Instructor Development Class, you will be taught how to do that.
When is the last time you had an opportunity to explore alternate training programs?
If you have been teaching the same old program for years and years you just might be missing some things that could not only help you, but help your students out as well.
Marksman’s Enterprise does not offer a conventional Instructor Development Class. We are not going to assemble 24-40 instructor candidates on a shooting line and yell at you with a bull horn. You are not going to have to spend a half day, 5 days in a row shooting a 50 round PPC qualification program. You will shoot a bit, but it will be more of an instructional tool for you and your classmates.
You will design the training program that is to be taught in your training program, you will shoot the program and learn to teach the program. You will also learn new things about yourself and how to teach. Each of you will run the line, each of you will teach a portion of the program, each of you will shoot the program, and each of you will diagnose shooting problems.
That is the way an instructor training program is supposed to work. You go to an instructor school to learn how to teach and how to get things done on the range in a meaningful and efficient manner.

This program is a 36 hour intensive instructor development program. The class of instructors will design a first level training program 28 hours in length for the selected weapon system (handgun). You will then teach the program to the class. Your presentation will include presenting your section of the program, running the required training exercise, diagnosing problems. Each candidate will participate in setting up the range each day and breaking the range down. You will learn how to introduce economical methods of training to your staff as well as learn how to make the best out of what you have. You will learn effective communication tools that you can use to diagnose a shooter’s problems and how to communicate to the shooter what he needs to do in order to solve his own problems. You will be taught how to design range training equipment and how to operate equipment that will be provided to you for the training program.
