A cut/paste from an E-mail I got today from an old friend...retired W-S cop that I sent some information to about the upcoming July 4th UN General Assembly summit on global smallarms control.

Here is his reply:

Is this the same U.N. that said we shouldn't bother poor lil' Saddam or Bin Laden? The same U.N. that told Saddam they were coming over in a few months to search for weapons of mass destruction?

Someone tried to pry open one of the doors to my business the first week we were open. The guy who came to take the report is someone I may have sent you photos of standing atop one of Saddam's palaces holding oranges, and in his room with his .45 on his side holding an M-16A4.

That was Keith "Doc" XXXXXXXX. We talked more than an hour about things. He told me about his outfit finding a huge underground bunker full of various cursor chemicals to make the type of stuff Saddam used to kill thousands of passive Muslims.

Doc said they were all surprised when no media showed up. It did not make the news in any way. They guarded it until a contractor was brought in, and simply filled the bunker with concrete.

I got a call from the NRA two weeks ago. They are trying to increase membership, and make the public aware of what is to come, citing Canada as one example.

Call when you feel like getting out and bustin' a few.

The report of the bunker was in the mainstream media, along with a report a of a chemical conversion facctory on wheels.

The Bunker was later Poo pooed as being full of chemicals that were / could be used to make INSECTCIDES. The trucks which were stripped before we got to them were poo pooed as being used to fill weather balloons
Now I saw a picture of the truck and I cant understand why a truck used to fill weather ballons would have a heated reactor vessel when helium is used inthe balloons, but thats what the media decided and the Bush press relations folks did nothing to dissuade them of this idea.

As for the Bunker a Colonel in the Iraqi army led our men to it, he said that it was for making chemical weapons, and the precurssors for poison gas were there alright. Same chemicals can be used for insecticides though, so the media decided it was for making insecticides, despite what the Iraqi colonel said, you see he was a mouthpiece for the right and part of the camapign of disinformation leading up to our savior John Kerry's campaign for president.

After all we all know the Iraqis never had any chemical weapons and would never use them. Its not like the UN found a couple hundred tons of them in 1993 or anything.

Media

Phone conversation early today...According to Chris, Doc said that this was a different bunker. No media coverage and no real mention of it after it was filled in. I'll see if he can get a little more information on it. Not a clue as to when we can arrange for a sit-down with him. Said he wants to go burn some ammo with us as soon as he can get a break.
