I was about to buy another 1000 rounds of 45 auto, but I wanted your advise first. If I'm shooting for training, is all ammunition the same? The only reliability problems I've had were from inexpensive range reloads, so my 1911 is fairly reliable. I want a brand that is reliable, full standard power, and fairly clean.
Please include your experience so I can learn from you, that means explaining why you have a particular recommendation. I’ll pay a few cents extra so my friends can reload my brass. So far I’ve been shooting 230 gr FMJ, but some brands have quite a bit of carbon fouling.
