Has anyone seen any RL22 at all in the last month or so, well actually at all in recent months? I'm kind of wondering what exactly is going on with Alliant rifle powders, specifically RL25, RL22, and RL19. Are they even making them at all any more. It just strikes me as very strange that no one I know is seeing any of those three. And many of the FFL's I know said they have actually ceased ordering them, and some have stated that they don't plan on bringing them back into inventory even if they do return to production. Bottom line, no one is talking or providing answers.

I'm getting by with others like H4831, IMR-4350, and IMR-4831, but none perform quite like my favorite RL's do for 7mm RM, .270 win., .243 win., and 6mm Rem..

And what really has me scratching my head is it that IMR's, Hodgdon, Winchester, and basically most other powders can be found with some effort, but not my RL's? And I know it isn't that they are hitting the shelves and selling as fast as they come in, cause no one I know is getting any, as well confirmed by the FFL's I know in Az. and New Mexico.

Yes game stalker they are! I have seen it here in TX all through this mess the last 2 years. What wasn't available in TX was BE and RL 15.

Sportsman warehouse has it instock, and I think it was instock at nachez a few weeks back. I almost ordered some but have 3#'s and rarely use it anymore.

Wow, I'm shocked. I've been searching high and low for it. I'm holding onto a single one lb. canister I have left for this next hunting season. Maybe our local SWH will get some in and I'll be able to grab a canister or two. Heck, I would be happy to find some RL19 and 17 if I could find any of that as well. I like 17 for .243 win and the 19 runs real well in .243 and 6mm Rem..

But thanks everyone for the positive out look you provided me.

Saw 5 1 lb'ers of RL19 at large store yesterday. Know I've seen some other RL in the last month or so same place.

Sportsmans in Tucson got a few 5lb'rs of 22 and 19 as well as a few 1lb on Saturday. They already had at least one 5lb of 19 sitting on the shelf that made it a whole week without being bought.

Well I must be just in the wrong place at the right time, or maybe wrong place at the wrong time? Ether way, I guess I'm missing the sporadic supply that's coming in, and I'll just have to keep a bit closer eye on things.

Thanks all!

Ya, in all my years of reloading I've yet to find three powders that will do what 25, 22, and 19 do for me.

I guess I kind of gave up trying to find it after having spent long days driving all over town in search. But now that I'm getting reports of it's return to the shelves, I'm going to have to get back to actively searching for it locally. and when I do find it, I'm gonna grab as many lbs. of it as is possible.

Thanks again everyone!

I prefer RL25 in the .257wm. 3,700fps w/100gr bullet. 3,800 w/Barnes 87gr TTSX. Sub MOA accurate.... (24"bbl!).
RL22 is great in .30/06 and .270. However I prefer RL17 in '06 and MagPro in the .270.

Only use I have for RL22 is the .260Rem. 120,140, 160gr bullets... its the choice...

I saw 17, 19 and 22 the other day at the local Bass Pro.
Don't know how long it lasted. Even at the $30/lb they're getting for it, it aint lasting long these days.

Our bass pro, Springfield Mo, had 6-8 pounds of it for MONTHS a while back. Other than that, their powder had been scarce.
