Hello, I've never been into handguns much. My dad gave me his 686 4in 6 shot that he bought new years ago and after shooting I fell in love with handguns, but my question is, I have a buddy that offered me a Mark II competition target 22 I believe he bought in '02. He still has everything with that it came with and SAYS it is barely been shot ( but thats what they all say ). He wants 300 for it, Good deal or not.

"...a Mark II competition target..." As in a Ruger? $300 is pretty much the going rate. So it's not a great deal, but fair.

Thx, I'm gonna go for it because it is just a good looking gun and I've always had luck with Ruger rifles, since I don't have a .22 and I hear that they are deadly accurate.
