I was out today and saw a Winchester Select, 12 gauge, O/U, 28 inch barrels, 3 inch chambers, two tone finish, brand new in the box on clearance in a local sporting goods store. The original price was $1,799, marked down to $999. It is the last one with little or no signs of shelf wear, and will stay at that price until sold, according to the sales clerk. (mind you that this chain is known for being slightly overpriced.)
I am currently over my shotgun limit and defiantly don't need another field gun. So I am not interested in purchasing it, but I am wondering if I should recommend the buy to a few friends or so? Gunbroker and the others don't seem to have the exact model listed.
It is in the Houston area if any of you folks are interested, let me know.
