I’m looking at buying one of these Mauser receivers from SARCO. The reviews seem to be good from what I can see around the net.
https://www.sarcoinc.com/dumoulin-mauser-action/

I’m going to pair it with this 45 ACP conversion kit from Rhineland Arms
https://www.troupsystems.com/product/mauser-45-acp-military-barrel/

My question is wether the thread pitch will match up. I’m not a machinist and do not understand thread pitch. This is a new area I’m learning about and understand they can be stated in a few different ways.

SARCO action says the threads are standard 1.10 x 12 TPI.
Rhineland states there’s are 0.578-28

Not sure if there is a conversion I’m not applying to this or not. Have not ordered anything yet. Checking before I do.

1.10 x 12 (1.1" diameter, 12 threads per inch) is the receiver thread for the barrel.
"Muzzle Threads: 0.578-28" are for flash hiders or silencers.

I do not know how close the SARCO/Dumolin action is to the military Mausers that Rhineland is playing to.

Ooooooo. Yeah. Well crap. I just re-read the web sight and it clearly says that. Schooled.

Thanks for the quick reply.

It should fit, think I'd stick to a beat up old small ring 93 though...SO many higher purposes for that double square bridge action...just begging for a Euro-hammer cartridge isn't it? 7x64 maybe...

That would be a neat build, but I’m done with big bore builds. I have a 35 Whelen and 375 HH. That’s more then I need or want. I did hear back from Rhineland Arms, they say it will work almost perfect, their 45 acp conversion uses the thumb cut out in the receiver for the ejector. So I would not be able to install the ejector. Which is a bit of a set back. Their suggestion was to mill a thin slot in the side of the receiver for it. But that’s a bit hard for me to source right now. Gunsmiths that are willing to do such a small job are very hard to find.
