Isn't a gun nut really someone who wants to take your guns away?

Think about it, pro gun supporters are often called "gun nuts," but are we really the people who obsess over weapons? No, it is usually the people who want to take away guns that spend all of their time and energy telling everyone who will listen how evil guns are and this and that. I mean, I have an interest in guns because I enjoy target shooting and like the idea that I can defend myself if I have to. People who want to ban guns on the other hand usually know little about them and are almost fanatical in their beliefs that gun are evil and that no one should own them. Am I right here to label the people who want to ban guns "gun nuts?"

The Nazis took away weapons too.

hello? Oh hey Godwin; yeah, he's right here. Hold on.

yo sandwich, phone for you!

Back on topic, let 'them' call 'us' names. It shows immaturity. The whole 'any lie can become accepted truth when repeated often enough' thing works best in times of desperation - and believe me, we're by no means desperate yet. Arguing over semantics won't solve anything. Remember your facts and figures, and for the love of god don't call them sheep!

I prefer being called Gun Bunny.

I recently decided to call those supporting the abrogation of the Second Amendment "accessories to mass murder, pillage and rape."

I don't like the term "sheep" either. "Good subjects" or "willing slaves" is less dehumanizing, and far more insulting.

Nazi stood for National Socialist. As opposed to Communal Socialist, otherwise known as a Communist.

Generally, any advocate of bigger, more powerful government will be in favor of disarming most people.
