Well when I watched that, what I gathered was there were several things wrong with that picture.
First, why was a firearm just laying out in the open like that where an unauthorized person, namely an inept juvenile, could retrieve it?
Second, let's just say I doubt very much that the creator of this piece did much in the way of technical research. The technique and simulated recoil reactions employed were not even passable.
Third, 17 seconds into the film when the firearm is picked up, the finger is right there on the trigger and there is no attempt made to inspect if a round is chambered or not.
However, the creator of this thing does make a point: these actions are the fault of the character in the video, not the inanimate object.
I sincerely doubt that the creator thought of all this however. A better epilogue would be: Guns make you irresponsible, unsafe, inept, go crazy, and kill people or something to that effect. But I think I give it too much credit.
The concept is not fundamentally flawed, but the production values are so low that any comic effect is lost, and so is the message.
