Issue with new trigger group on 500A

Ok guys I'm having a slight issue with my mossberg 500A. I recently bought a new trigger group, to replace my old one since the slide lock stopped working. This is a MidwayUSA oem part by the way. Upon installing the new trigger group (which looks exactly like my old one ) and doing a function test I noticed I cannot completely slide my action back no more than 60% travel distance. After thinking I didn't reassemble correctly and doing it a solid 15 times and finally switching back to original trigger group to have firearm function I don't understand what is different and is causing action to hang up.
