I arranged a trade, my '61 Single Six Magnum Model for a 6" GP100 + $50.00. My gun, shipped by a dealer, got wrecked in transit. Actually, the packaging left something to be desired.
After a little delay, during which I had resigned myself to a struggle, out of the blue he offered to get me a GP100! No argument or anything. I had thought that it was going to be a huge hassle.
Since he was being so nice, I told him that I hadn't specifically sought out a GP100, that I put mine up for trade and that's what was offered. I said that I just wanted a powerful revolver and asked if he had anything interesting in the store.
He offered me a beautiful, monster, old (1982,) stainless 7.5" Redhawk with 100 rounds of ammo and I took it.
This thing is a beast of a gun. I shot 12 rounds out back and liked it a lot. A true truck-stopper.
He did good by me.
