Waldo please keep us posted on that G17 magwell mod I would love to see that happen and maybe copy er um I mean respectfully emulate your decision lol
 
I had a 995 TS with a cheap Tasco red dot on it for awhile. For the life of me I can't think of anything negative to say about it. From Hi Point overnighting me a pile of extra mags at no extra charge, to it digesting cases of gun show special cast reloads without a hiccup, it was an altogether pleasant experience. Hell, even my then girlfriend enjoyed shooting it.
