IWB Holster for 3" Colt Detective Special (DS)

Hey gang, can anyone recommend a good concealed carry holster for the above revolver. I'm not stuck on any one material, but do wish to minimize wear on the blued finish if possible.

Thanks!

Lots of guys like Lobo Gun Leather. They are now under new ownership, but we have a guy on the forum with a holster from the new owner and he seems pleased.

Here's the thread http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=793663

As an aside, since this gun has been out of production for over 20 years and revolvers are not as popular today as they were prior to 1980, it may be helpful to not abbreviate the gun in question. I suspect the majority of the forum members probably have never seen one, and many don't know what you're talking about even if you had spelled out "Detective Special", which would have been helpful.

Thanks JTQ for the recommendation, I will check them out.

Otherwise I'm kind of surprised that not many folks would recognize the abbreviation. Makes sense, but would think any revolver enthusiast would get it. I guess I'm just getting old!

I'll see about fixing the title. These are great guns and made to carry. For me the revolver is a great choice, but thats a whole nother discussion.....

Yep, but you have to know your audience. In the revolver sub forum, most folks probably know what you're talking about. In the holster sub forum, probably not.

They are all going to wear the finish.

Here are some other options.
