Anyone tried J-B NON- EMBEDDING BORE CLEANING COMPOUND? Some english words is not that easy to understand. So i wonder if there is something i have to do, before i use the J-B thing?

It's very common here with the benchrest competition shooters. If it's good enough for their finely tuned competition guns, I figure it's good enough for me. I use it occasionally to remove copper fouling and polish bores, but I find that solvent is usually quicker and less work. Basically, JB is a very fine abrasive rather than a cleaner or solvent.

Abrasive is like sandpaper or scouring powder. if it's a fine abrasive, that means it doesn't remove very much for every stroke, and doesn't leave scratches. A coarse abrasive will remove more and leave scratches.

J-B's is good for speeding up the "break-in" process of a new Black Powder firearm. About 6 or 7 patches of the stuff worked rapidly thru the bore followed by clean patches worked the same way and then a cleaning with your regular BP cleaning solution works wonders for getting a gun shooting well right out of the box.
Otherwise I only use it about once a year or if I notice my accuracy is falling off noticeably.
It's also great for removing copper build-up on centerfire rifles.

JB bore paste

This is like very mild lapping compound if that helps...

It cleans with a mechanical action rather than a chemical action.

I looked for a Swedish language translator but couldn't find one - the German word for abrasive is "schleifmittel" according to the free translator that I use.

My best advice for your Trapper is just to clean it with soapy water and keep it oiled to prevent rust. I doubt JB bore compound will do anything that soapy water won't do. Black powder guns don't get the copper buildup that JB is best at removing. JB will polish your bore nice and shiny though. My Trapper has a pretty rough bore but it's smoothing out nicely just from shooting it.

I love the Trapper pistol! What a great value. Mine shoots as well as my T/C Patriot and has a better trigger.
