I've seen some collections come and go, but the sheer number of rare and prototype weapons on this list has me absolutely drooling all over my keyboard. What I wouldn't give for some of those Mausers.

I know some will probably go for a pretty penny, but anyone with some extra cash looking for some rare firearms, cannons and Class III's, well... You're welcome and I'll only take a K98 off your hands as a finders fee lol :neener:

So the machine guns that are not marked as "Fully transferable" means that only a Title II dealer can buy them?
.

They are about an hour and a half drive from here.:D Wish I had more cash so I could buy a couple more toys I liked in the preview.:( I have been at these events before, lots of fun.:D

The ones marked prototype and Serial # 3 are the ones that really had me drooling. I mean, I don't even particularly like the looks of the gun per se, but imagine pulling something like that out of the safe?

"Oh, that one? Yeah that was the prototype model they used during testing before they decided on the regular Garand without the Pedersen device, no big deal"

Wow, what a collection !

Great collection. But this ticks me off some. These are guns are highly valuable because there is a ban in place on new machine guns being registered. It's bull pucky.

Good homebrewers could tun out PPSH41 and PPSH43s. Not to mention the AKs and Stens, or even Chauchat.

This just reminds me of what we have lost.

Wow, what an incredible auction! A veritable treasure trove of so many rare and interesting weapons! Loved the Maxim/Vickers heavy machine guns along with all of the Lugers and the prototype pistols. Favorites include (but not limited to), the "Baby" Luger, the Walther MP-PP 9mm. prototype, the Webley-Fosbury Model 1906 semi-auto revolver for the U.S. trials (didn't even know this handgun existed!), and the Walther Armee Pistol with the long barrel, extended magazine, and shoulder stock. Thanks for sharing.

Got lost there for quite awhile, if only I had 40K for the Grand American Winchester model 21 20ga. with extra barrels.:(
