Stumbled across an article in an old American Rifleman that featured an artist named Jeni Benos. This young lady, out of a love of shooting and art, combined the two to create jewelry she calls "pistol petals". It is actually pretty neat, and looks nice, i think it would make a cute and unique gift for a female shooting enthusiast in someones life. More specifically, i just wanted to mention it because i feel that this sort of ingenuity and love of the sport is just the sort of thing the gun lovers of the world need more of. It seems like a wonderful way to comfortably introduce, and possibly rouse an interest in, shooting and firearms in situations where the subject would ordinarily be more or less frowned upon. For those of you that havent heard of the artist/art work heres a link to her site to check it out if your interested

Im not much of a jewelery guy, But i do like these alot. Now if i could only find a female to give some too.
I think you need someone really into guns to give a gift like this tho, But im sure there are lots of ladies who would love them.
I know i like the .45 pendant for men.
Creativity is high on this one, The end result is better than anything i would have imagined.

she was at our juried town fair a few years back. though many from my pucker-tight community did not know what they were looking at/ buying, she did quite well. she received a plaque of some sort though she did not return this year.

Interesting, but why the cartridge casing? Why not something more gun relevent like the expanded gold bullet used as a belly dancer's navel ornament in the James Bond flick?

I remember that little blurb in American Rifleman!
In fact, I think if I dig through my pile of magazines I could find it.

I honestly thought about getting one for my girl but she wanted a bottle of Glenfiddich instead :D

My girlfriend will be in love with these... now i know what to get her for a future gift thanks

Haha, no problem, i actually have a few people im planning on getting them for too

I've seen her at the Nation's Gun Show at the Dulles Expo in Chantilly, VA a few times. Great idea and the products looked just like the pictures. I'm not sure how well she does at the shows, but I wish her the best.

Ingenious. I'm tempted to buy one or two of the necklaces made from casings. I'm intrigued as to why she hasn't managed to work any bullets into the design.
