brentfoto,
In this thread, you so eloquently demonstrated practically every generalization made about certain states in the US. You even went so far as to attack Texas as a state.
You see, typically when a state like California gets attacked on THR, it is considered taboo on THR. You do the math. Just don't be suprised if some of us see you as the embodiment of those generalizations made regarding CA.
Was Mr. Horn threatened with deadly force, or not?
Newsflash. No matter how badly you may want it, MANY states allow for the defense of property, and many people WILL defend their property within their ethical structure. Your ethics do not get preference over others.
What was he doing outside? The 911 operator told him NOT to go outside. Vigilante scum! May he burn forever!
WOW. The 911 operator has no authority to tell him what he should do.
This will not end. Maybe the feds may be able to prosecute him. I certainly hope that SOMEONE prosecutes him. Don't you?
No, I don't.
They were only taking some property. Do you place property of a couple of thousand dollars, which could be covered by theft insurance, above that of a human life?
Don't push your ethics on me. I can make an arguement that your viewpoint only emboldens criminals therefore excalating crime and violence in our culture.
Oh, and YES, those poor dead boys are infinitely morally superior to Mr. Horn. THEY are the victims! Two wrongs don't make a right, or have you forgot that one? And the second act, that of Mr. Horn, is morally reprehensible.
I hope a fund gets started to help out the families of the victims. I'd contribute to it.
Oh, My God.... you are painting these guys as VICTIMS? Give me a freaking break. They were not casually walking down the sidewalk. They were ROBBING someone.
If this were one of the many home-invasion robberies where the homeowners were killed by the robbers, would you STILL be painting these poor, misguided youths as VICTIMS?
I'll stop now. This is too freaking easy. You people (and by you people, I mean-- well, I think you know exactly what I mean) really do think this way, don't you?
Classic.
