PS: By the by, he said he would throw in an Uncle Mikes holster with the deal... From what I understand, uncle mikes holsters a cheap nylon numbers, so I am not sure if I will need something else or not... I guess we shall see.

For $270? I'd say so. GP-100s are great - you'll love the gun.

Uncle Mike's isn't too bad, I use one with my GP-100 when I carry it IWB.

Congrats you have the most advanced revolver on the planet. GP's came out late when police had already switched to autos thats why their not as popular but they have the best features of every sixfgun before them and tie it all together very well. The gun will outlast all of us!
