From what I have read, Mossberg originally bought the design of the 100ATR rifle from Charter Arms who was building the Raptor, Mossberg took that design and went through it to make it more producable. The Raptor was loosely based on the Howa but not identical, so the parts won't interchange.
I have a 100ATR in .270, it took about 3 boxes to get the right combo of ammo, it will hold 1" groups with 130gr Federal balistic tips. If you have one of the "factory scopes", you may want to invest in a better scope, too. These are great guns for the money.
Mossberg had a whole bunch of "new" rifles at the Shot Show this year, they are called the "4x4", still a bolt-action, but now it has a drop magazine, supposedly 9 different calibers from .25-06 all the way up to .338.
These are a new design, they don't look like a "traditional" rifle, kind of a traditional with a little tactical thrown in.... if that makes sense. They had them in walnut, laminate, and plastic, the plastic was the most radical of the designs, I liked it.
I looked on their website and they don't have it there yet....
